Kona fishing on the Sea Strike

KONA FISHING NEWS - July 2014

Joe Pagano and his wife are first time visitors to Kailua Kona Hawaii. They came all the way from New Jersey to Kona for their honeymoon. Joe really wanted to catch a big game fish. Although his new wife isn't really interested in that, she was understanding and found other activities that she enjoyed while Joe went fishing with Captain Dale and first mate Jack Leverone aboard the Sea Strike for a full day exclusive charter. If you really want to catch a marlin, you naturally increase your chances with the amount of time you spend trying. Well, it was Joe's lucky day. In fact, Joe's day was luckier than most. The Sea Strike hooked up 3 times that day! One stayed on, and the battle ensued. Joe boated a nice marlin that weighed in at 176 pounds. Joe is so stoked that he is having the marlin mounted by Gray Taxidermy. Gray's produces a top quality product, and Joe will have the memory of his great fishing adventure on his wall for years to come.
